Concept project.
In the modern world, millions of people are choosing to become travelers. Amid the ongoing global changes, it seems the whole world has set out on a journey, and the concept of a “nomad” has confidently entered our lives.
In our city, too, it feels as if a temporary nomad camp has settled in the square. A magical village oasis, appearing amidst the urban landscape like a mirage in the city square, draws attention with its otherworldly brightness and peculiar shapes.
The pavilion structures, crafted from colorful threads, resemble improvised tents and towers, where a weary traveler might find comfort and rest in their shade. The woven volumetric technique gives our creation an ethereal, airy quality, adding an illusionary touch.
Structure:
The pavilion consists of a series of modules—woven objects mounted on supports that are shared between neighboring modules. Circular benches are arranged around some of the supports, with weights placed inside them. This design interconnects the entire structure, making it stable and resistant to wind loads.
